Traditional dermal fillers like Juvederm and Restylane are made from hyaluronic acid — a gel-like synthetic substance that adds volume and attracts water to create plumpness. It is terminally sterilized to a sterility assurance level (SAL) of 10⁻⁶. As with any injectable procedure, there is a possibility of side effects including swelling, bruising, pain, or in rare cases, immune response. Your provider will review all risks during your consultation.
AlloClae™ is made from human donor adipose tissue. The processing significantly reduces immunogenic cellular components — components that could trigger a rejection response — while preserving the structural extracellular matrix. The minimized DNA content further reduces the risk of immune response. This is standard practice for allograft tissue products used across medicine.
